About the prints
All prints are individually printed at a high resolution using giclée (inkjet) technology, with the high quality archival papers and 100-year pigment-based lightfast inks. The finished prints have both the look and feel of photographic images obtained using traditional wet halide processes.
All prints are produced on high quality paper:-
• The Open Edition prints are produced on Photo Gloss 270 grams per square metre paper, these prints are supplied without mounts or frames.
• The monochrome Limited Edition prints are produced on Harman Gloss FB AL this has an Alumina coating ensuring a high degree of glossiness, optical image density and vibrancy.
• The colour Limited Edition prints are produced on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl the bright white of FineArt Pearl enables impressive contrasts and pictorial depth, with a surface that is remarkably similar to a traditional silver gelatin double-weight photo paper.
• The size quoted for the print is the printed size of the image, all images are printed with a white border which varies depending on the print format.
Making a difference
It's easy to claim that your photographs help to promote and protect the environment, however sometimes the only way to do this is to put your hand in your pocket.
For a number of years I have been a member of the John Muir Trust, the leading wild land conservation charity in the UK. For each print sold a donation will be made to The John Muir Trust; each limited edition print sold £10 will be donated and for each open edition print sold £2 will be donated.
